WHAT IS MEDITATION?
Meditation is a 'special unique' art of using our mind power/energy to 'solve' our spiritual, physical problems and ailments through contemplative focussing. When we meditate each time, our soul goes 'spiritual travelling' to the Divine Worlds for spiritual learning and repaying 'karmic debts'. This leaves our body like a vacuum, thus exposing it to any 'negative possession' of it. As a result, it is dangerous to do meditation without proper guidance under a spiritual teacher.
The purpose of this spiritual travelling and learning through meditation is to pay back our past 'karmic debts' soonest possible. It is understood that not all of our past 'karmic debts' can be repaid in a lifetime in our physical form. Therefore, it might take many reincarnations before one could repay all one's 'karmic debts' ie. become a 'fully purified soul' to be 'one with God'.
For this main reason, whenever we do meditation, we are said to have 'died' once and for many meditations, we have 'died' many times. During our meditation, our soul is said to be 'seeking and repaying' our past 'karmic debts' through our soul form. Therefore, it is not necessary for one to go through reincarnation after reincarnation for a soul being to repay all one's 'karmic debts'. It is difficult but not impossible for one to repay one's 'karmic debts' in a lifetime through spiritual meditation.
How fast and how much one's soul has repaid its 'karmic debts' depends very much on the individual self.

SOME SPIRITUAL HEALING FINDINGS
A. BEVERAGES, FOODS, PRESERVATIVES & OTHERS
1. BLACK SAUCE
A large amount of caramel (a sugar or syrup heated until it turns brown, then used as a flavouring or to colour spirits, etc.) is present in this sauce. This caramel, when taken by one excessively without any physical form of exercise regularly, would form a sticky matter in the blood veins, thus blocking the smooth flow of the blood system in one. As a consequence, more often than not, it could cause one to have lethargy, headaches, numbs, heart diseases, backaches, etc.
2. CHILLI
Chilli is one of the most popular and common food enhancers to most people, but unfortunately, it is a 'slow killer' to our body system. Though a small amount when eaten by one could help to eliminate or reduce the bacteria/germs in our stomach, but too much of it without regular exercise and drinking lots of water/cooling herbs could cause the following sicknesses/illnesses to one:-
•Blurring eyes
•Body aches
•Chest pains
•Constipation
•Cough
•Dehydration
•Fatigue
•Flatulence
•Headaches and fevers
•Heartburn
•Loss of sensitivity in the taste buds
•Piles
•Sinus
•Ulcers in the mouth, throat, stomach and intestines
A year ago, an influential man came to us for healing, complaining that he had a severe pain in the right side of his torso. He had consulted several chinese physicians and specialists and until then the pain was still there. Through our spiritual investigation, we found out that he took lots of chillies and coffee which caused a swollen boil in his liver. After several spiritual healings and controlled intake of chillies, he was well ever since.
3. COCOA
Cocoa is the powder made from crushed cacao seeds, often with other ingredients and made into a drink (eg. Milo, Vico and Ovaltine) or chocolates. These cacao seeds contain an oily substance which, like the coffee, would block one's blood streams, thus causing lethargy, headaches, numbness, heart diseases and palpitation, sweaty palms, nervousness, backaches, tumour, sleepiness and possible hepatitis, unless one exercises regularly.
We had several cases of people complaining of numbness in their hands and pains in their backs. Our spiritual investigations found out that these people overconsumed cocoa beverage that caused the problems. When they stopped for about 3 months and with regular exercises, they felt very much better.
4. COFFEE
Coffee is a drink made from the roasted and ground beanlike seeds of a tropical shrub. It contains caffeine which is an alkaloid drug with stimulant actions to our nerves. Though it is alright for one to take a small cup daily, but over time if without regular exercise, this oily substance of caffeine would block one's blood streams, thus causing lethargy, headaches, numbs, heart diseases and palpitation, sweaty palms, nervousness, backaches, tumour, sleepiness and possible hepatitis. In severe cases, it might cause one to have cancer in the pancreas and liver, heart attacks and strokes.
Some examples of what overconsumption of coffee without regular exercise could do to a consumer:-
The first concerns a woman from Port Dickson who came for spiritual healing. She was complaining of body aches, lethargy and heart palpitations for 35 years. She had consulted many specialists and doctors but to of no avail. From spiritual investigations, we found out that the cause of her illnesses was due to the overconsumption of coffee. Due to her love for coffee, she was at first reluctant to give it up. However, after much persuasion by her husband, she finally agreed to give up coffee for at least 3 months. Much to her happiness, she related to us that she was very much alert, active and the symptoms of body aches, lethargy and heart palpitations were gone.
The second case concerns an elderly woman aged between 65-70 years old who was from Kuala Lumpur. She could hardly walk and had to be helped to the healing room. She complained of dizziness, sleepiness, 'lifelessness' and aches all over her body. There was no strength in her legs. She had seen many doctors and they could not help her. Again, spiritually we diagnosed that the caffeine from the coffee blocked all her blood veins due to her too much of consumption of it when she was younger. However, she, after stopping the intake of coffee and several sessions of spiritual healing, was up and well, making trips to visit her relatives later on.
5. COLA
Cola is a small tree of the genus Cola which is native to W. Africa and it bear seeds containing caffeine. Carbonated drinks, eg. Coca-Cola and Pepsi-Cola, are usually being flavoured with these seeds. Like coffee, if one overconsumes it without regular exercise, it can cause similar problems to one's body.
6. MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE (MSG)
According to a 1995 report from the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), an unknown percentage of the population may react to MSG and develop MSG symptom complex, a condition characterized by one or more of the following symptoms:-
•burning sensation in the back of the neck, forearms and chest
•numbness in the back of the neck, radiating to the arms and back
•tingling, warmth and weakness in the face, temples, upper back, neck and arms
•facial pressure or tightness
•chest pain
•headache
•nausea
•rapid heartbeat
•bronchospasm (difficulty breathing) in -intolerant people with asthma
•weakness
•drowsiness
According to our spiritual findings, we found out that people who consumed too much of MSG can cause them the following:-
•Hair dropping
•Sore throat
•Skin diseases
7. OVERLY BURNT FOODS
It has been proven scientifically that overly burnt foods, immaterial of whether they are roasted, toasted, fried or otherwise, can cause cancer related diseases. Our spiritual findings revealed that these overly burnt foods can also cause the following sicknesses/illnesses to a large section of the people:-
•Aches all over the body
•Bloated stomachache
•Blur eyes
•Constipation
•Fever
•Headaches
•Heatiness
•Insomnia
•Pains in the chest
•Persistent cough
•Sore throat
Unless counteracted by one taking lots of cooling herbs/honey and regular exercises, eating these foods can cause one a host of sicknesses/illnesses.
8. STOUT
Stout is a strong dark beer brewed with roasted malt or barley. Though some people claimed that it gives them strength and vitality, it certainly can cause them to have similar symptoms of discomforts of people taking too much of coffee, cocoa and cola.
9. SUGARCANE JUICE
Obviously, sugarcane juice is very good for cooling the body heat, but it has its set-back. One who takes too much of sugarcane juice, as we found out, can eventually cause one to have diabetes as age catches up with one. And as you know, diabetes is a terrible disease which could link to a host of physical illnesses/diseases and discomforts. However, if one were to drink a lot of sugarcane juice and exercise regularly, then the chances of one having diabetes is less.
10. TEA
Tea is another good drink for cooling body heat, but also, it has its set-back. Tea has properties of caffeine and tannin in it. Therefore, the effects of caffeine on one is very similar to the Coffee described above and tannin has the effect of causing one the contraction of body tissues over time. No wonder heavy tea drinkers always complain to us of their following pains, aches, etc.:-
•Backaches
•Chest pains
•Heart palpitation
•Neckaches
•Numbness in the hands
•Pains in the shoulders
•Sweaty palms
B. OTHERS
1. ANTIQUES
Many people in this world love art and they usually buy works of artists to decorate/ beautify their homes or offices. Unkowningly and unfortunately, they also buy lots of lovely antiques once belonged to the deceased of the past. Like human beings, spirits of the deceased are also attached to the things or articles they once cherished them when they were alive. These spirits would normally reside and/or stick around to their 'prized possessions' and when the 'antique-hunters' buy them, they are also welcoming these 'spirits' to their houses to stay with them.
As a consequence, as time goes by, these antique collectors and their family members would usually complain of seeing 'figures or images' flying/zooming about the houses, hear noises sometimes as if someone is walking down the stairs, opening drawers or cupboards, washing in the kitchen, or someone is lying on top of a member of the families in the still of the night. Thus, it is extremely important for the antique - collectors to ensure that the antiques are 'clean', or alternatively,'cleansed' before they bring them home, otherwise, sicknesses and 'ill luck' could befall on their families subsequently. Go call the 'Ghost-busters' if you have had such strange happenings in your house or office!
2. BEADS
If you are observant enough, you can see many people hang a string of rosary beads in their cars, in their houses, offices, wear them as bracelets or wristlets, place them on their places of worship, etc. They do these not because of beautifying the places or themselves, but merely for the belief that these 'holy' beads could protect them from harm, injuries, accidents, or bad luck. Of course, some of them use them for chanting prayers.
It would be of interest for them to know that the 'little holes' of these rosary beads or any other beads could harbour spirits of the wandering kind. If the owners of these beads were lucky, then the wandering spirits would not disturb them, otherwise, these spirits could cause 'havoc' to the owners, eg. accidents, sicknesses, bad luck, etc. If you do have them, please go and have them 'cleansed' before you use them. Good luck !
3. CRYSTALS
Oh yes, crystals are becoming very popular these days and people are prepared to pay from hundreds to thousands of dollars for them. It has been propagated and promoted by unscrupulous entrepreneurs of this trade throughout the world that these glassy stones could radiate 'good energies' and bring the buyers abundance of luck. Do you believe them?
Through our spiritual investigations, all stones, regardless of whether they are precious or not, have a certain amount of 'vibrations' or 'energies'. These energies are usually 'produced' by some spiritual beings residing there. And believe it or not, they are usually found to be the negative spirits in them. If these spirits happened to be 'compatible' with the owner, then they might not harm him, otherwise, they could disturb him. Do remember that these stones, like mirrors, are a good harbour for the negative spirits of the wandering kind. Their negative energies can cause the owner illnesses, sometimes bad luck, because these negative spirits sap away the 'positive energies as food' from the human kind. Now that you know the possible contents in your crystals, why not have them 'cleansed' and keep them, instead of throwing them away?
4. DOLLS
Those of you who have seen the horror movie entitled 'Child's Play' should have some idea of how a spirit could hide in a doll. Somehow, there is a basic truth in this movie.
Most dolls are hollow within and they can harbour spirits of all sorts. We think we need not have to explain further of how these doll spirits, as they are called, could do harm to your children, making them sick most of the time and naughty, disobeying all your instructions. Well, have the dolls exorcised by an exorcist after which the dolls can be kept by your children.
5. HAIR
More often than not, according to our spiritual findings, 'negative spirits' were found residing in long hair of ladies. They made these ladies suffered from neckaches, headaches, etc. It is recommended that ladies with long hair should tie up their hair in a ponytail-like so that sunlight can reach their nape to dissipate the 'unwanted beings' residing there.
6. IDOLS
Idols are just symbolic of what people pray to. Most idols of worship are also hollow inside them just like the dolls as described above. Sometimes these idols of worship may not be hollow and improperly energised, they can still attract 'wandering spirits and restless souls' to them. Why, you may ask. This is because most of the worhippers would make offerings to the idols by burning incense, candles, etc. which serve as 'energy foods' for the spirits. The other reason being that these wandering spirits and restless souls are always searching for some 'holy saints/guides/deities' which could salvage them and return to 'the kingdom of God' some day. Thus, they choose to 'stick around' to their saviour-idols for as long as they could.
7. JOSS-STICKS & JOSS-PAPERS
When idols are improperly energised and people make offerings to them by burning joss-sticks and joss papers, all sorts of negative spirits can be attracted to these idols. Worse still, ignorant worshippers just burn joss-sticks and joss-papers at the front and back of their houses, not knowing that these can invite the wandering spirits and restless souls to their homes. No wonder these worshippers suffer bad luck and ill health all the time.
8. BENZOIN (KEMENYAN)
Benzoin or ' kemenyan ' (in Malay language) is a white crystalline gum resin, called gum benjamin, obtained from various East Asian trees of the genus Styrax. It is used in the manufacture of perfumes, whereas shamans use it as incense for their prayers and magic involving supposedly invocation of evil spirits.
Many idol worshippers have mistakenly believed that by burning this benzoin in their homes it could help them to ward off any evil spirits. On the contrary, as we have said before in the above, all forms of incense burning are 'energy foods' for the spirits and thus, it would attract them instead. If you have been burning or offering this incense to your idols, please instantly stop them.
9. MIRRORS
Have you ever heard of mirror spirits? What are mirror spirits? Where do they come from? Mirror spirits are just any spirits that happened to hide in there. As mirrors are hollow, they form the best harbour for negative spirits, especially in the homes and in the hotel rooms.
Through our investigations, there are 2 main types of mirror spirits, namely, the 'saucy' spirits in the toilet mirror and the wandering spirits in any normal mirror. Believe it or not, most of the 'saucy' spirits hidden in the toilet mirrors are found to be the male spirits who are actually 'peeping toms', whereas in the normal mirrors are usually found to be the female ones, although they can also have males, too. Nevertheless, these spirits are present there to 'hunt for their energy foods' from human beings who are spiritually very weak. They could have come from various sources, examples, from the past tenants, articles of worship, wandering spirits passing by, sick occupants, talismans, etc.
In order not to be disturbed by these mirror spirits during your sleep, place a 'strong POSITIVE talisman/amulet/Healing Disc' on all mirrors to ward off their possible attacks on your physical and spiritual body.
10. WIND CHIMES
Many people like wind chimes as decorative pieces of ornaments to beautify their homes and also possibly to hear the beautiful chimes they make on a windy day. Some hang these wind chimes in their houses because they believe that these could 'break the so-called too-strong energies' flowing into their houses which could bring them misfortune and bad luck. Unfortunately, we do not buy this idea because wind chimes' vibrations are not strong enough to negate strong energies from high tension wires, power stations and the negative spirits.
As a matter of fact, most wind chimes have some hollowness in them, thus, allowing spirits to reside there. Therefore, not only you fail to negate these strong energies, but you are also 'welcoming' the 'uninvited guests' to your homes. However, if you still insist of having them hung up in your house because you love to hear the beautiful chimes, then please have them cleansed first.

COLOUR LIGHTS IN GRADUATED LEVELS OF MEDITATION
More often than not, a meditator would see many types of lights during his meditation. Some are 'dangerous' lights, some are 'soothing' lights whereas others are 'healing' lights when he comes to stages/levels of spiritual meditation. Most of the time, a meditator would see patches, blotches or the whole 'screen' of colours of darkness/black, dark green, green, dark red, purple, orange, pink, yellow, light blue, turquoise, dark blue or white, depending on his level of meditation at different points of time.
Here are some of the MST guides/indications to the colours seen by a meditator:-
NEAREST MEANING OF MEDITATION COLOUR
Passing through the 1st plane of the dark tunnel of Hell. One may be 'lost' here unless guided by a Spiritual Master. This is the Student level.
Passing through the 2nd plane of the Negative Spiritual World. One could be 'disturbed/distracted' by some negative spirits here. This is the Student level.
Passing through the last plane of the Negative Spiritual World. One could be 'disturbed/distracted' by some negative spirits here. This is the Student level.
Feeling & going through the above 'painful/hurting' Spiritual World. This is the Associate level.
Reaching the 1st level or the Lower Astral World - normally known as 'Demi-Deity' Spiritual World. This Lower Astral World comprises mainly wandering 'spirits/souls' of humans, animals & insects which are still very attached to meat-eating & materialism. This is the Associate level.
Once it is repaid, the Spiritual Traveller will begin to feel an urge to become a 'full vegetarian' & perform charitable deeds. His psychic & healing powers become more pronounced. Some allergies to certain foods like beef, pork, cigarettes & liquor are felt here. This is the Disciple level. Fairies and angels with wings and halos are usually found here in the Saint-Deity World.

Reaching the Middle Astral World - normally consisting of 'materialistic' Deities but eating lesser meat. This is the Associate level.
This is the Pure Astral World where it consists of 'purified' Souls/Deities. This is where vegetarianism starts with the Meditator. It is possible for the Meditator to have some psychic & healing powers. This is the Associate level. Fairies and angels without wings are usually found here.
This is called the 'Cause & Effect' Saint World where the 'Spiritual Traveller' begins to repay his 'karmic debts' either through his physical and/or spiritual form. This is a very difficult period & many 'divine tests' will be experienced by him mainly on his 5 passions. This karmic repayment of debts could last from 2 - 5 years depending on the individual self.
Reaching the Bodhisattva (Higher Saint) World where the Spiritual Traveller begins to feel COMPASSIONATE for especially souls, humans, animals, insects, etc. Many of the Spiritual Travellers may feel that they have reached here, but sad to say, they have not yet. Increased allergies to certain foods and repulsion to meat are experienced by the Spiritual Traveller here. Hence, the Spiritual Traveller will begin to become a 'full-time' vegetarian. This is the Inner Blue Circle level.
Reaching the Bodhisattva - Buddha (Enlightenment) World where the Spiritual Traveller becomes more COMPASSIONATE with all souls and beings. More intense allergies to foods are being felt by the Spiritual Traveller here. This is the Higher Inner Blue Circle level.
Reaching the Buddhahood (Enlightened) level - the 'Enlightened' Spiritual Traveller' eliminates the 5 passions of Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachment & Vanity. Loves all souls and beings in this
Universe and blesses them accordingly. Free from human bondage and rebirth. Can transform in any form He chooses and always travels in soul form. This Spiritual Traveller having reached here is said to be an 'Enlightened Soul' or BUDDHA. Abstinence from 'impure' foods and beverages is absolute. This is the Spiritual Master level.
This is our Origin and the highest level one could reach. Here, He is said to be 'one with SUKMAD'. It is a state of 'ONENESS, GLARING BRIGHTNESS, COMPLETE CALMNESS, WONDERFULLY PEACEFUL AND EMPTINESS. " EMPTINESS YET FULL, FULLNESS YET EMPTY. "
MEDITATION
MEANINGS OF CHANTING PRAYERS IN MEDITATION
Whenever we do meditation, there is always a danger that our soul would 'leave' our body for spiritual travel, leaving the body a vacuum for other 'wandering' spirit and restless soul to possess it. When our soul returns, we might not be able to get back into our body again because it could be 'occupied' by another spirit. Our body is then said to be 'possessed'. Therefore, chanting prayers during meditation is of utmost importance to us when we do meditation in any form, except and provided that you are accompanied by a holy music like the 'SUKMAD SONG'. It radiates holy energy and protects over your vacuum body while your soul goes 'spiritual travelling' to the Divine Worlds.
However, chanting the right vibrancy of the prayers (Mantra) will produce the 'Positive Energy' which will protect our body, whereas wrong chanting and/or chanting the wrong vibrancy of the prayers will produce 'negative energy' which will invite more Negative spirits into our body. You can try the following few 'password' words to test whether they are positive or negative energy producing words. First, get a glass of water, take two sips each time after each exercise and find out whether they give you a sweetish, smoother, rough or bitter after-taste. Positive energy word will produce sweetish or smoother after-taste and Negative energy will definitely produce the rough or the bitter after-taste. Chant 9 times each time for each word before tasting the water twice. The following words are:-
a) OM
b) HUM
c) SHANTI
d) HU
e) SUKMAD
Once you have found the 'right Positive' energy producing word, stick to it always whenever you do your spiritual exercise. It is like your 'key' to the door of the Divine worlds. As you move higher to the next level of meditation, your password could change and always it could be given to you in your meditation or even in your dream. You must keep it a secret to yourself otherwise your secret password could fail to open the door to the next higher level of meditation.

SOME METHODOLOGIES OF MEDITATION
MST MEDITATION PHILOSOPHY
TO PROMOTE MEDITATION AS A FORM OF RELAXATION AND THERAPY
TO PROMOTE A HEALTHIER LIFE AND MORAL IMPROVEMENT
TO PROMOTE MUTUAL HELPFULNESS ESPECIALLY FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE MEMBERS OF COMMUNITIES REGARDLESS OF AGE, CREED OR RELIGION.
Man, when properly trained, is able to detach himself from the physical body while living in the body and travels to all parts of his outlying Universe. The 5 great passions that bind Man to become a 'prisoner of Earth' are Lust, Anger, Greed, Attachment and Vanity. It is only through this MST Spiritual Exercise that one can overcome all the above passions and become an 'Enlightened (Freed)' one.
DO'S AND DON'TS BEFORE DOING SPIRITUAL EXERCISE (MEDITATION, COMPLETE SILENCE, TAFAKUR, ETC.)
DO NOT TAKE LIQUOR BEFORE DOING SPIRITUAL EXERCISE.
DO NOT SMOKE BEFORE SPIRITUAL EXERCISE.
DO NOT OVER-EAT BEFORE SPIRITUAL EXERCISE.
DO NOT HAVE SEX BEFORE SPIRITUAL EXERCISE.
DO NOT DO YOUR SPIRITUAL EXERCISE ON YOUR BED.
DO NOT DO YOUR SPIRITUAL EXERCISE WHEN YOU ARE VERY SLEEPY.
ALWAYS WASH YOUR FACE, HANDS AND FEET BEFORE DOING YOUR SPIRITUAL EXERCISE.
ALWAYS BLESS AND CHANT YOUR PRAYERS BEFORE DOING YOUR SPIRITUAL EXERCISE.
DRINK THE GLASS OF 'HOLY WATER' ALWAYS AFTER EACH SPIRITUAL EXERCISE.
LOVING KINDNESS(METTA)
Place a glass of water (boiled, filtered or tap) on your altar or in front of your sitting relaxed position in a semi-lotus or cross-legged position facing the sky. Place your right palm over the left palm on your legs, thumbs touching lightly at each other. Switch on the SUKMAD tape/CD. While listening to this SUKMAD tape/CD, close your eyes and visualise all the people irrespective of their race, animals, insects, etc. in this world are kind and loving. Extend and feel your love for everyone of them you visualised.
Next, visualise that all the unhappy and sad scenes of the people, animals, etc. in this world are caused by lack of love and kindness to one another. Feel deeply in you that you CAN and WANT to generate loving kindness to all these people, animals, etc. you see, and make them extend the similar loving kindness to one another. Gradually visualise all the people, animals, etc. in the scene happily loving and embracing one another with kindness.
The above spiritual exercise should take about 26 minutes. As soon as the music stops, you can stop visualising and open your eyes. Place your palms of warm energy on both sides of your face for about 1 minute. Then, drink the glass of 'holy' water always.
Repeat the above every time you do this spiritual exercise.
VIPASSANA MEDITATION
Place a glass of water (boiled, filtered or tap) on your altar or in front of your sitting relaxed position in a semi-lotus or cross-legged position facing the sky. Place your right palm over the left palm on your legs, thumbs touching lightly at each other. Switch on the SUKMAD tape/CD and close your eyes. While listening to this SUKMAD tape/CD, silently say, "May all the people and souls in this Universe be blessed and be helped with love, happiness, good health, kindness, peace and luck."
Concentrate on your breathing system, feeling the rising and the falling of your lungs as you inhale and exhale. Feel the air rushing in and out of your lungs as you breathe normally through your nose. As you inhale, silently say, "Rising, SUKMAD" and as you exhale, silently say, "Falling, SUKMAD". Keep repeating this until you 'fall off' (drift off). Then gradually you could focus next on your other parts of your body as you improve your meditation.
The above spiritual exercise should take about 26 minutes. As soon as the music stops, you can stop meditating and open your eyes. Place your palms of warm energy on both sides of your face for about 1 minute. Then, drink the glass of 'holy' water always.

MEDITATION
TYPES OF MEDITATION
Basically, there are two types of meditation: PHYSICAL and SPIRITUAL meditation using 'Mantra'(chanting) and/or 'Tantra' (releasing soul energy) processes. Physical meditation method focuses mainly on the human physical being, eg. body and breathing system, etc., whereas the spiritual meditation method focuses primarily on the human soul being or mind energy. Of all the different types of meditation, the most common and widely practised ones are 'LOVING KINDNESS (METTA)', 'SELF-OBSERVATION (VIPASSANA)' and the 'MANTRA-LINKED MIND RELAXATION (TRANSCENDENTAL MEDITATION).'
As a guide, there are 3 periods of meditation time which are as follows:-
a) The 1st Watch : 6.00 PM - 10.00 PM
b) The 2nd Watch : 10.01 PM - 2.00 AM
c) The 3rd Watch : 2.01 AM - 6.00 AM
The best period of meditation time is the '3rd watch' which is the time that Lord Buddha achieved His Enlightenment. It is said to equal '3 meditation times' of a normal meditation. Though this is a difficult time to get up to do meditation, it's a worthwhile 'speed-up' exercise than you do many times in a day.

MEDITATION

TALKS RELATING TO MAN, SOUL & SUKMAD
SUKMAD
SUKMAD stands for the Supreme of the Ultimate Kingdom, Mom And Dad to our soul. Our parents gave us the physical body but SUKMAD gave us our Soul. In other words, SUKMAD is the Creator of this Universe including our souls. Everything in this Universe is made up of atoms and we are one tiny part of it. SUKMAD is that sum total of all the atoms in the Universe which we commonly call it our Creator God. SUKMAD is sometimes referred to, by other religions, as the Father, Brahma, God, the Ultimate, etc. MST Society usually refers IT the 'Light and Sound of SUKMAD'. SUKMAD is OMNI-PRESENT, OMNI-SCIENT AND OMNI-POTENT.
We are known as the 'Unenlightened Children of SUKMAD' and only those who are 'God-realised' beings and souls are known as 'Enlightened Children of SUKMAD'. For examples (according to alphabetical order), Buddha, Ganesh, Guru Nanak, Jesus, Nabi Muhammad and Tai Seong Low Kuan were the 'Enlightened Children of SUKMAD'. These are only some of the examples but there could be others also elsewhere in our world.
SOUL & MAN
Our Soul is the creation of our Creator SUKMAD; we are part and parcel of Him. It was because of our 'impure intentions and actions' of our Soul that led us to 'solidify' to become Man in order to learn and enrich our Soul through hardships, sufferings and pain.
After much sufferings and pain, through numerous rebirths or incarnations and learning the right path to 'go back and to be one with SUKMAD', we then know the best form to be is in Soul form. As Man, we act as a learning vehicle for our Soul to know and differentiate 'what is right and wrong' before we could purify our Soul to be 'one with SUKMAD'.
This is likened to our body injury (as Man) and it takes some time to heal before the affected part could become the same 'good flesh' (purified/enlightened) of our body again (SUKMAD).
Man without Soul is dead: our physical body is like a machine, our brain is like its motor and our Soul is like its energy (electricity). Without electricity (Soul), the machine (body) and its motor (brain) cannot move and is 'dead'. Therefore, our Soul is the most important element of our physical being.
LUST
The 1st Passion and barrier of Man to SUKMAD. This is Man's 1st Test that SUKMAD has set for him to pass during his 'learning and enrichment stage' on earth. It is only through the spiritual exercise (meditation) and adequacy that Man can overcome this passion.
Lust can be described as Man's temporary and momentary desire to satisfy his physical and emotional needs. It is the excessive craving/desire for something, not limited to sex only but also for alcohol, drugs, tobacco, drinks and foods.
ANGER
The 2nd Passion and barrier of Man to SUKMAD. This is Man's 2nd Test that SUKMAD has set for him to pass during his 'learning and enrichment stage' on earth. It is only through the spiritual exercise (meditation), tolerance and patience that Man can overcome this passion.
Anger is that barely controllable outburst of ugly emotion exhibited by Man. It could lead to an unpleasant scene, ignite another one's fury, start a fight/war and/or even a fatal consequence.
Normally, an outburst of anger of Man is due to his pride and glory, satisfaction of his wants and desires, protection of his loved ones and out of fear.
GREED
The 3rd Passion and barrier of Man to SUKMAD. This is Man's 3rd Test that SUKMAD has set for him to pass during his 'learning and enrichment stage' on earth. It is only through the spiritual exercise (meditation) and generosity that Man can overcome this passion.
Greed can be described as the excessive desire for materialistic wants of Man such as wealth, food, drugs, etc. and such greed could lead Man to lying, robbing, trickery, bribery, hypocrisy, fighting, etc. just to acquire such materialistic wants.
ATTACHMENT
The 4th Passion and barrier of Man to SUKMAD. This is Man's 4th Test that SUKMAD has set for him to pass during his 'learning and enrichment stage' on earth. It is only through the spiritual exercise (meditation) and detachment that Man can overcome this passion.
Attachment can be described as having a strong affectionate or emotional relationship with a person, thing, events, etc. that one could not do without or give up. This is a pretty dangerous passion which could lead to death, heartbreaks, quarrels and fights, irrational actions, etc.
All materialistic things on earth are temporary and impermanent; somehow one day, Man has to give up all these materials when he physically leaves the earth. As the saying goes, " We come with nothing, we go back with nothing." Man, normally, finds it very hard to detach from all the materialistic things that he feels very attached to.
VANITY
The 5th last Passion and barrier of Man to SUKMAD. This is Man's 5th Test that SUKMAD has set for him to pass during his 'learning and enrichment stage' on earth. It is only through the spiritual exercise (meditation), humbleness and adequacy that Man can overcome this passion.
Vanity can be described as Man's conceit and desire for the admiration of his personal attainments or attractions through showing off his possessions to others. It could be a display of his wealth, knowledge, power, status, beauty, reputation, etc. In fact, this is his worst enemy and passion which can ruin him when he falls eventually. As the saying goes, " Pride comes before a fall. "
FATE
LIFE IS
40% FATE,
30% GEOMANCY (FENG SHUI),
20% LUCK, AND
10% CHARACTER
Fate is actually the results of Man's doings/deeds in the past lives and thus is reborn in the next life (lives) with so-called Karmic (cause & effect) credits/debts. That is why some people are born 'lucky' wherelse others are born 'unlucky'. In short, Man is the creator of his own destiny as to what he should become in the future. It is just like Management: if it wants to increase its sales and profitability of its company, it has to set its objectives and plans its goals/action plans in order to achieve its targets.
However, in spiritualism, Man has 3 types of Fate, namely,
1. PRIMORDIAL FATE
This is Man's 1st existence as a man/woman in the physical being without any 'good or bad' doings/deeds in the past. The creation of his/her Fate of whether he/she should be born 'lucky or unlucky' in the next life or lives depends on this 1st existence and thereafter.
2. PRESENT FATE
This Fate is the cumulative results of the past doings/deeds of Man. Therefore, he should not blame SUKMAD or any person for his 'unlucky' birth to these parents nor praise/compliment SUKMAD/them for bringing the 'lucky' him into this world. Who else do you think is responsible for his consequential fate? Of course, it's him!
3. FATE IN THE FUTURE
If Man wants to have a good life in the next rebirth, it is only him alone who should prepare and work hard for it by doing and accumulating all his good doings/deeds in his present life. For examples, doing all types of charitable works, extending compassion to all souls and beings, not killing any living thing, giving dharma to the unrealised souls and beings, etc.
ADEQUACY
Accordingly, adequacy is the act or habit of not indulging/ having too much of pleasure, food, etc. In the context of spiritualism, adequacy here means refraining from excessive craving/desire for something, not limited to sex only but also for alcohol, tobacco, drinks and foods. The best guidance for Man then is to follow the middle path - not completely lacking of something nor having too much of the thing he wants. Of course, where extremely bad things like drugs, smoking, alcohol, etc. are very harmful to our body, total ABSTINENCE (refrain from) is absolute.
ADEQUACY WILL COUNTER MAN'S LUST FOR ANYTHING.
TOLERANCE & PATIENCE
In our world today, there are many things such as words, events, attachments, materialism, etc. in our society which could irritate, anger, provoke, etc. Man. More often than not, Man intolerably retaliates 'tooth for tooth' to get even with the people, thing or situation. Eventually, this leads to fights and a war.
Like it or not, tolerance and patience are the best medicines and effective way to deal with the above situations. Though it's easier said than done, Man, through lots of experiences and experiments, can develop various good techniques of solving problems with lots of tolerance and patience.
Tolerance is a skilful art and a virtue to Man. It is a 'mind over matter' technique which employs lots of self-control over one's temper/anger/frustration to another one's provocative words, actions, etc.
Patience is a well-known virtue that Man can have. It is a way of Man who can remain pretty calm without showing any emotional agitation throughout a process of an event of teaching, listening, provocation, hardship, pain, delay, etc.
TOLERANCE AND PATIENCE WILL COUNTER MAN'S ANGER.
GENEROSITY
Man is naturally born greedy and if possible, he would want to be "a dog in the manger", meaning that even though he has adequately satisfied his needs/wants at that point of time, he does not generally have the generosity of giving the surplus to the other needy people. Some people are born with generosity while others can cultivate this generosity from young.
It is always a good principle for us to practise in giving a little bit of our earnings to help the poor, old, sick or the needy people. However, generosity is not true generosity when you pay somebody to donate in money or in kind to charitable homes or poor/needy people on your behalf. This is because you only have the thoughts of being generous but not generosity coming straight from your heart. A true generous person will sacrifice his time, effort and money to personally do the needful in fulfilling the needs of his generosity.
For example, it is a better generosity of a man's heart for him to guide a blind beggar across a busy street than to give the beggar some money. Money is not always the best form in performing one's generosity but a generosity executed from the heart in the forms of services or religious teachings is the best. Here again, one should not advertise nor publicise one's generosity in the media or in any record/register book of any charitable organisation, for SUKMAD knows it all !
CERTAINLY, GENEROSITY WILL COUNTER MAN'S GREED.
DETACHMENT
Detachment here does not mean that you are indifferent, ignorant, disinterested or uncaring for your loved ones or your possessions. It does not also mean that you have to break up with any relationship from your parents or loved ones nor discard all your sentimental possessions. What it really means is that you do care, love and are interested in the welfare of your loved ones or your possessions but at 'arm's length'.
Example 1.
When a loved one dies, a person should not be so attached to the deceased during the funeral so much so that eventually he/she falls sick and dies, too. He/She should detach unselfishly from the deceased and let its soul free from the earth's bondage and rebirth/incarnation.
Example 2.
A son may accidentally scratch his father's beautiful and expensive car. The father is so attached to the car that he scolds and punishes the son by beating him up. The question here is: is the car more dear than his son? We think not, the father can repaint the car or buy another one rather than scarring their father - son relationship. If the father were more detached from the beautiful and expensive car then, he would have preserved the good relationship with his son.
Example 3.
Your best friend has involved in many financial and domestic problems. He/She comes to you for advice and counselling. You spent many good hours and days giving your best advices and guidances to him/her. Since he/she is your best friend, you would want to find the best solutions to end his/her problems and needless to say, you would also want to see to it that he/she overcomes all his/her problems successfully. Unfortunately, he/she follows some of your advices/guidances, but chooses to ignore the other part of them. Therefore, the outcome of his/her problems being solved is not very successful.
Thus, this made you very disappointed and very angry because you are so attached to him/her. Consequently, you are frustrated, suffering from insomnia, etc. and might lose his/her friendship. If you have done your best in helping him/her, you should be detached from him/her as to whether he/she follows your advices/guidances completely. Let him/her have the freedom to choose whichever ways he/she wants in solving his/her problems.
DETACHMENT WILL COUNTER MAN'S ATTACHMENT.
HUMBLENESS
It is so easy for us to be vain, arrogant and boastful of our achievements/possessions than to be unassuming and humble. Many of us do not know that humbleness is one of the best gifts to Man from SUKMAD. It creates a string of subsequent virtues like tolerance, patience, respect and affinity with all people. Look around you today, there are very few great successful men who are truly humble of their outstanding achievements/possessions without having them being publicised in the popular media.
To borrow from an adage, "Great people are humble people." But I believe ordinary, unassuming and humble people are even greater people. This is because it is so hard to practise humbleness in our 'rat race society' with so many challenging opportunities to become rich, powerful and famous. Despite all these, can you still become humble? I would answer "yes", through many experiences and time, humbleness can be acquired by one. Sometimes 'humbleness' can be misunderstood for weakness in a person, but on the contrary, he/she certainly has a strong character beneath him.
HUMBLENESS WILL EVENTUALLY COUNTER MAN'S VANITY OVER TIME.
COMPASSION
Compassion is often mistakenly referred to as 'sympathy or kindness'. Sympathy is a feeling of pity radiating from one person to another, but this is not compassion. Kindness is an act or feeling of one's help/assistance offered to another person, but again this is not compassion. More often than not, all the above feelings of sympathy and kindness come from thoughts than from the heart alone.
However, a man's compassion is a strong, genuine and natural feeling radiating from within the heart towards another pitiful being/soul. Often, this compassion of one creates tears in one's eyes naturally, upon seeing the sad condition/state of another being/soul. He/She does not use any logic or reason to have compassion for another.
Example: a compassionate man can burst out in tears upon seeing a poor beggar in the streets, and promptly donates some money to him or sometimes even help to look after him without even thinking of having some rewards/ compensation in return. He/She does not even ask why the beggar who is so young, fit and strong has to come out to the streets to beg. Do you have the compassion, sympathy or kindness for the poor soul?
KINDNESS
Kindness is an act of one doing good or performing charitable deeds to people. Kindness may not only be in the form of monetary deeds, but it can also mean doing a service or a good deed to one. Sometimes kindness of a man is initiated through thoughts and rational thinking of a situation of the poor and/or needy people. However, a man's compassion removes all these human rationale in wanting to extend his kindness and generosity to people in our society. After knowing these differences between kindness and compassion, which category do you belong to?
THOUGHTS & INTENTIONS
"Thoughts will lead to actions;
Actions will lead to habits;
Habits will lead to character;
And character will lead to fate."
This is said by a Sage about two and a half millennia ago. Therefore, over time thoughts could create your future and fate. When a person always has ill thoughts and imaginations, he would usually attract 'negativeness', 'wrong and bad people' and 'harmful surroundings'. As a consequence, he would always have unkind and harmful intentions towards people and even other things.
However, when a person has the 'right thoughts and intentions', he would always have a kind heart and a helpful soul in him. He is always on the lookout to help people, perform charitable deeds, etc. He is always looking for 'inner peace and happiness' which could only be achieved by him doing things through his right 'thoughts and intentions'.
EQUANIMITY
Have you ever come across a person who has been jeered, booed, scolded, spat at, etc. and yet he remains composed without remarks or retaliation? Or have you ever met another person in times of misfortune, in critical situation, in danger, etc. who can still smile and is "happy to live for another day"? If you have, then these persons definitely have equanimity.
Equanimity is a state of one's mental composure and calmness to deal with misfortune, critical situations, dangers, humiliations, etc. without an outburst of his anger, fright or depression. Equanimity is normally acquired by one through lots of his experiences and experiments in his journey through life. He listens attentively, observes minutely, analyses carefully and makes his judgments unbiasedly on all things that come to him. After many years of practical training, he begins to acquire the so-called equanimity in him.
